Jules is the eldest sibling out of seven, although a few of them have moved out at this point. Currently, Jules lives with his 3 younger siblings and is the one responsible for them. His parents both travel a lot for work-related reasons, and so it leaves Jules in charge of the household, having to take care of cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the kids. That, added to all the time he spends studying, results in a lot of stress and exhaustion for him, and he often doesn't find any time to hang out or indulge in his hobbies. Jules resents having to raise his siblings but can't bring himself to move out or even be mad at his parents. He feels bad for having such selfish thoughts and keeps his frustrations hidden since he sees himself as a dependable person and needs to stay strong for the sake of others. However, no man is made of iron, and Jules ends up burning out a few times.
Jules' favorite pastime is reading medieval romance novels, being particularly into a series of novels called "Kingdom of Passion." He's a big fan of high fantasy and would like to visit a Renaissance fair someday. Having to cook for the household also developed his cooking abilities, and he even grew to like it quite a bit! Often the members of his extended family drop off their kids for Jules to watch over, and he is unable to say no, only making things hard for himself. He struggles with stabilizing limits and boundaries, so the people around him grew accustomed to counting way too much on him. Jules is a well-behaved man who insists on always being polite and keeping things peaceful, as he is very conflict-averse. He has strong values and puts great importance on doing things the right way, and some might consider him a bit prudish because of that. Despite all the difficulties and problems with his family, he still loves them dearly and would do anything for the important people in his life.

Relationships

Sun/Sol Jules thinks Sol can be a bit excessive sometimes, but they get along well. Jules appreciates Sol's friendliness and welcoming nature.

Moon/Luna: Jules hasn't interacted with Luna before, so he doesn't have any opinions about her. They'd probably get along very well.

Marcos: Jules doesn't know Marcos very well and doesn't find many opportunities to talk to him as they don't attend the same places.

Venus: Jules gets along well with Venus and probably had a fleeting crush on her back in his freshman year. He doesn't see her very often but admires her confidence and integrity.

Earth/Alec: Jules doesn't talk often with Alec, seeing as they both spend a lot of time in their own houses. Jules thinks Alec is a reasonable guy and gets worried for his health and a bit upset he's not close enough to do anything to help.

Mars/Marshall Jules gets uncomfortable whenever he has to talk to Marshall, as it seems he's always trying to pick up a fight. He tries to respond politely but ends up just nodding along, hoping that Marshall will get tired of screaming about magic on the gathering decks and leave.

Saturn/Sammy: Sometimes Jules sees Sammy at Nephy and Yuri's house, and they interact nicely. He thinks she's very friendly and appreciates the conversations they have, although they're not close at all. He wouldn't be very comfortable in most of the places she's at.

Uranus/Yuri: Jules is good friends with Yuru, and he frequently hangs out with him and his brother Nephy. He met Yuri when he was still a child, and they played and got into all sorts of trouble together, to Jules' dismay. Jules gets worried about Yuri's habits but doesn't press him too hard about it and prefers to play board games or just talk when they're together.

Neptune/Nephy: Nephy is probably Jules' closest friend, and they like to reunite once a week to play Magic the Gathering or other board games. He appreciates having a friend that enjoys quieter, more relaxing activities. Jules has known Nephy throughout their entire childhood, and they usually played the straight man to Yuri's wrecklessness.

Pluto/Patricia: Jules and Patricia are complete opposites, but it seems they get along well. Initially, Jules was very scared of Patricia (and sometimes he still is), but as they got closer after an incident (see Jupiter and Pluto's super friendship adventures), he learned how to navigate around her quirks. Despite feeling somewhat intimidated by her, he also has a light crush on her. Her decisive and fiery nature is kind of attractive to him, but it's also a little scary, so he never took a chance to approach her. Luckily for Jules, she seems to have taken a liking to him. They got used to spending a lot of time together, with Pat coming over to his place and just sitting and reading in silence as he works on assignments. Eventually she discovered his interest in high fantasy romance novels, and it's become a habit for them to discuss the story and its newest installments.
